Carbon Neutral EventIMIC 2012 goes Green and Becomes a Carbon Neutral, a Climate Friendly Event. To this end the conference organizers are co-operating with Green Evolution SA, a company specializing in Greenhouse Gas Management.
Green Evolution will track down emission sources and will account all emissions associated with the conference according to the international WRI/WBCSD GHG protocol and the ISO 14064-1:2006 standard. Emissions which fall within the organizers responsibility will be accounted through these standards and will be offset following the procedures of Green Evolution¢s “CO2 Neutral Seal” certification scheme which allows full transparency and traceability of the offset procedure.
