Vasiliki Rousi is agronomist (Diploma of Agricultural engineer/ University of Agricultural sciences and Veterinary Medicine of Timisoara) and Ph.D. Cantitate in Agronomy.
She has been working as BIO Hellas Crop Certification Manager since 2008. She held various positions at BIO Hellas: Inspection Department (2003-2005), Member of the Certification committee (2005-2006), holding in addition the positions of Quality Manager (2006-2008) and Technical Manager.
During the period 2002-2003, she worked at the Directorate of food Processing, Standardization and Quality Control of the Greek Ministry of Agriculture and in 2002 as Agronomist of the Hellenic National Organization Insurances.
She has attended seminars in Greece and abroad with topics related to agri-food or quality management sector, involving Marketing-Management, Agricultural Amelioration Projects, EUREPGAP v 2.1 JanΒΆ04 Fresh Fruits and Vegetables, Quality Management Systems and Internal Audit according to ISO 9001:2000.
Recent action was to participate in the drafting of technical standards and certification processes catering supplies in accordance with the requirements of Standard BIO Kouzina.
Her mission is to develop and disseminate new trends related to organic agriculture and organic products in the Greek market.
