Kostas Konstantinidis

Kostas Konstantinidis was born in Athens in 1952. He studied Business Management at the Athens University of Economics and Business and he is a graduate of the school of conference organisation of IAPCO (International Association of Professional Congress Organisers).
His professional involvement in the tourism industry began in 1979. He is the founder and Managing Director of the Heliotopos Group whose activities include international conference and events organisation, internet services, and printed and electronic publications. The group also owns and runs a hotel of the same name on the island of Santorini.
He has participated in a great number of conferences and seminars and has written many articles for distinguished newspapers and magazines. He is an active member of the Institute for the Study and Monitoring of the Santorini Volcano and the Society for the Promotion of Studies on Prehistoric Thera. Since 2008 he is also member of the Board of Directors of the Association of Greek Tourism Enterpises (SETE).
