George Palisidis


George Palisidis was born in Thessaloniki and he studied Culinary Art at the Organisation of Tourism Education and Training (O.T.E.K) and Tourism Management at the Technological Institute of Thessaloniki, Greece. He received an DU in Tourism, Restaurant, Hotels Practices from the Université de Savoie, France and an MSc in Tourism and Hotel Management from the Université de Nice-Sophia Antipolis, France. He is certified as Professional Chef & F&B Manager, Inspector of Quality and Meat Handler. Since 2007 he works at the Laboratory of Gastronomy and Function of Food Services at the Technological Institute of Thessaloniki. At the same time he has been involved in research programs and has also work experience as a consultant in Hotel and Food Services development in Greece and abroad (France, UK, Italy, Monaco). He has participated in international conferences and his articles have been published in international journals. His research interests include the use of Business Intelligence and quality-costing systems in the food services industry. Final, he has write the book “Nutritionals and Gastronomies Standards in Professional Food Industry”
